BelOil may stop supplies of AI-95 gasoline to Ukraine in June

Belarusian Oil Company CJSC (BelOil, designated export trader in Belarusian oil products) can stop supplies of the AI-95 gasoline to Ukraine in June 2021, news portal еnkorr reports, citing holders of term-contracts for BelOil gasoline supplies. </p> <p>   </p> <p> “Today we were told that there will be no supplies of AI-95 at all. Meanwhile, the full volume of AI-92 will be delivered. The reasons for this decision are unknown," said the enkorr source. </p> <p>   </p> <p> “We are continuing negotiations. According to our data, the Mozyr refinery (Mozyr Oil Refinery, Gomel Oblast) is fully stocked with gasoline. We understand that they have turnaround maintenance in progress (Mozyr refinery begins scheduled repairs on June 1 - ed.) and that volumes may be cut, but cutting shipments altogether and report it three days before the end of the month is unacceptable from any point of view,” another official told enkorr. </p> <p>   </p> <p> According to the Ukrainian market players, if BelOil completely defaults on its contractual obligations, “it will be a crushing blow to the company’s reputation as a reliable supplier”. </p> <p>   </p> <p> Consulting Group A-95 believes that in the event of termination of AI-95 gasoline supply from Belarus, the market will face a deficit. According to the group, the average monthly supply of Belarusian AI-95 in 2021 was 55 thousand tons, which is about 50% of the market share of this brand. End </p>
