Belneftekhim state petrochemical concern expects the delivery of 1.606 million tonnes of oil to the Belarusian refineries (Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC, Gomel Oblast, and Naftan OJSC, Novopolotsk, Vitebsk Oblast) in September, the press office of Belneftekhim reported on September 1. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belneftekhim has confirmed that Transneft planned to supply up to 1.4 million tonnes of oil to Belarus in September, as earlier announced. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus has been diversifying oil supplies to its refineries amid periodic disputes with its main and traditional supplier, Russia, over the oil price. Continuing to import Russian oil through the Druzhba main pipeline and by rail, Belarus is also working on alternative transportation routes. Oil is being supplied by sea through the ports of Klaipeda and Odessa. This year, Belarus has been purchasing oil from Azerbaijan, Norway, Saudi Arabia and the United States. End </p>
