Bellesbumprom’s exports up 19.9% in Q1 2021 to $176.4m
<p> MINSK, May 3 - PrimePress. Enterprises of the state-owned timber and paper industries concern Bellesbumprom increased exports by 19.9% year on year in Q1 2021 to $176.4 million, the Bellesbumprom press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> Exports to the CIS states totalled $83.3m, up 14.5% year on year; exports to foreign countries other than the CIS states totalled $91.3m, up 25.1%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Heavily modified products have the largest share in the commodity structure of exports: wood-based panels ($39.9 million), furniture ($35.8 million), pulp ($30.7 million), plywood ($23.1 million), paper and cardboard ($21.9 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> Russia accounted for over 32% of Bellesbumprom exports in Q1 2021, Poland - 16%, China - 11.5%. Bellesbumprom companies exported to Russia $57 million worth of products (+28.6% yoy), Poland - $28.3 million (+21.9%), China - $20.4 million (+27.4%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Exports to the European Union were up 22% year on year in Q1 2021 to $63.3m. </p> <p> </p> <p> All in all, Bellesbumprom exported its products to 38 countries in Q1 2021.
