Belavia to lease new Embraer-175 Sep 5, 2020 – Transport Ministry

Belavia Airlines will add a new Embraer-175 leased under an agreement with Nordic Aviation Capital to its aircraft park, says the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> In accordance with the agreement with Nordic Aviation Capital, the airline already received one Embraer-175 and three Embraer-195s in April 2018. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belavia signed in February 2020 a lease agreement for the supply of three new-generation Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The arrival of the first one from the manufacturer is expected in December 2020, and the rest in early 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Since 2014, Belavia has been implementing a modernization program, which resulted in the acquisition of eight modern fuel-efficient aircraft: three Boeing 737-800s and five Embraer-175/195s. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belavia Airlines is the largest air carrier in Belarus, which operates scheduled flights to 27 countries in Europe and Asia. It has been a full member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 1997 and a member of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) since 2010. In accordance with the agreement with Nordic Aviation Capital, the airline already received one Embraer-175 and three Embraer-195s in April 2018.
Belavia signed in February 2020 a lease agreement for the supply of three new-generation Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The arrival of the first one from the manufacturer is expected in December 2020, and the rest in early 2021.
