Belavia stops transporting Iraqi, Syrian and Yemeni citizens on flights from Turkey
<p> MINSK, Nov 12 - PrimePress. Starting fr om 12 November 2021 Belavia airlines will cease to carry citizens of Iraq, Syria and Yemen on flights from Turkey to Belarus. This was announced by the airline’s press service. </p> <p> </p> <p> The airline notes that Belavia passengers who fall under this ban can make a full refund of the cost of the air ticket without deductions at the place of purchase. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, the foreign ministers of the European Union (EU) will gather on November 15 to discuss possible new sanctions against Belarus and as well as measures against countries from wh ere migrants go on their pilgrimage to Europe. The EU intends to explain to the authorities of countries from or through whose territory migrants travel to Europe via Belarus the need to protect their citizens from what it considers a "hybrid attack" by Minsk. The EU also intends to carry out a similar awareness raising campaign with airlines of the third countries. Earlier, it was reported that new sanctions could be imposed on Belavia. End </p>
