Belaruskali’s export trader analyzing new sanctions imposed by USA, expects price hike

The Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) - Belaruskali’s export trader - told RIA Novosti that it is analyzing the US decisions to impose restrictions on the potash producer and expects prices to rise on the global market, Prime reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> “We are conducting a detailed examination of the decisions taken. BPC will make every effort to meet its obligations to its partners within the current legal framework,” the BPC press service said. </p> <p> </p> <p> “At this point it is difficult to assess the degree of impact of the sanctions… but we can definitely say that they will lead to an increase in potash prices and a decrease in its availability on the world market,” the BPC press service said.
