Belarus Unison suspends manufacture of Chinese Changan crossover

The Belarusian-British joint venture Unison CJSC (Minsk Oblast) has suspended the assembly of Changan crossovers, says a message posted on the web portal Chinese Automobiles. </p> <p> </p> <p> Unison in collaboration with Changan Automobile Group (China) began the assembly of the Changan CS35 PLUS and CS75 FL compact crossovers in June 2020. The products were sold both in Belarus and in Russia. Now the company prefers to import automobiles only from China. </p> <p> </p> <p> Founded as a Belarusian-British venture in 1996, Unison was converted into Belarus’ ZAO Unison Joint Venture in 2000. Based in the suburbs of Minsk, Unison has been assembling Ford, KIA, Samand cars and minibuses for over 15 years. End </p>
