Belarus’ truck export up 4.5% in Jan-Nov 2020 to 46,250 vehicles

Belarus increased the export of trucks and truck tractors by 4.5% year on year in January-November 2020 to 46,250 vehicles, Belstat said in a statistical report. </p> <p> </p> <p> In monetary terms, the export decreased by 5.7% to $522.18 million. Belarus supplied 30,351 vehicles to the Russian Federation (up 7%) worth $276,256 million (up 1.2%). </p> <p> </p> <p> The export of trucks decreased by 9.6% to 4,642 vehicles. In monetary terms, the export dropped by 41.1% to $517.284 million. Russia accounted for 3,119 vehicles (down 3.6%) worth $292.455 million (down 57.3%). </p> <p> </p> <p> The export of off-road dump trucks decreased by 49.1% to 376 vehicles. In monetary terms, it was down by 56.39% to $262.93 million. Russia accounted for 165 vehicles (down 69.4%) worth $86.721 million (down 81.6%). </p> <p> </p> <p> The export of passenger cars increased by 98.3% to 35,407 vehicles. In monetary terms, the export grew by 18.2% to $208.96 million. Belarus supplied 35,176 vehicles to Russia (up two-fold) worth $200.305 million (up 32.7%). </p> <p> </p> <p> In January-November, Belarus exported 1,153 vehicles with 10 or more seats (down 4.6%) to the tune of $137.008 million (up 49.8%).
