Belarus’ truck export up 12.4% in Jan-Feb 2021 to 7,593 vehicles

Belarus increased the export of trucks and truck tractors by 12.4% year on year in January-February 2021 to 7,593 vehicles, Belstat said in a statistical report. </p> <p> </p> <p> In monetary terms, the export grew by 41.7% to $39.524 million. Belarus shipped 1,795 vehicles to the Russian Federation (down 7% yoy) worth $22.297 million (up 13.5%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Truck export increased by 0.5% to 806 vehicles. In monetary terms, truck export increased by 23.8% to $129.959 million. Russia accounted for 524 vehicles (up 1.2%) worth $103.674 million (up 47.8%). </p> <p> </p> <p> The export of off-road dump trucks grew by 77.2% to 101 vehicles. In monetary terms, it was 2.1-fold increase to $83.71 million. Russia accounted for 87 vehicles (up 4 times) worth $66.172 million (up 4.8 times). </p> <p> </p> <p> Passenger car export increased by 3.8% to 5,694 vehicles. In monetary terms, exports grew by 28.9% to $37.956 million. Belarus shipped 5,586 vehicles to Russia (up 2.1%) worth $33.987 million (up 22.2%). </p> <p> </p> <p> In January-February 2021, Belarus exported 166 vehicles with 10 or more seats (up 3.1%) to the tune of $18.257 million (down 2%).
