Belarus’ Trade Ministry set tariff for oil transportation from Poland on Mozyr-Adamowo Zastawa route at Br8.43 per tonne

The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus has set the tariff for oil transportation along the Mozyr-Adamowo Zastawa route at Br8.43 ($3.45 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per tonne (MART resolution No.55 of July 27, 2020 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal on August 5. </p> <p> </p> <p> This tariff is required to organize oil supplies to Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC (Gomel Oblast), MART said in a comment. </p> <p> </p> <p> The resolution comes into force upon its official publication. </p> <p> </p> <p> In April 2020, MART set the tariff for oil transportation through the main pipelines of Gomeltransneft Druzhba OJSC on the Adamowo Zastawa (Poland)-Mozyr-Mozyr Oil Refinery route at Br8.58 ($3.51) per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Lukashenko said in January that Belarus should procure 30-40% of oil from Russia, 30% via Baltic ports and 30% via Ukraine. Later, Lukashenko instructed the line agencies to negotiate with Poland supplies of American and Saudi oil through the port of Gdansk and then through the pipeline to Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> PERN, the operator of the Polish section of the Druzhba oil pipeline, announced on February 28 the plan to organize the transportation of oil from the port of Gdansk eastward through the Gdansk-Plock and Plock-Adamowo sections (the Adamowo Zastawa oil pumping station located on the linear part of the Druzhba pipeline near the Belarusian border).
