Belarus’ Trade Ministry extends regulation of prices of socially important goods by 90 days till Jun 29, 2021

The Belarusian Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) has extended the regulation of prices of socially important goods from Apr 1 till Jun 29, 2021, as per MART resolution No.18 of Mar 26, 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, price regulation for 18 groups of socially important goods was introduced by Resolution No. 83 of December 28, 2020 and was valid from January 1 to March 31, 2021 inclusive. At the end of March, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) agreed on the extension of state regulation of prices for socially important goods in Belarus. In particular, the prices of 17 commodity items, including meat, fresh-frozen fish, dairy products, bakery products, cereals, sugar, baby food and other goods will be extended by 90 days - from April 1 to June 29. Fish canned food - by 41 days - from May 20 to June 29, inclusive. </p> <p> </p> <p> The resolution came into force upon its official publication. End </p> <p> </p>
