Belarus’ tractor production up 9.1% in Jan-Mar 2021 to 9,500 units

Belarus’ production of tractors for agriculture and forestry, except for tractors operated by a side-by-side operator, grew by 9.1% year on year in Jan-Mar 2021 to 9,500 units, the National Statistical Committee (Belstat) told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> In March 2021 alone, tractor production totalled 3,700 units (+21.9% year on year, +19.4% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Production of harvesting machines in Belarus increased by 40.5% to 3,599 units in Jan-Mar 2021, including 1,267 units in March (+26.7% year on year and down 7.2% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Production of equipment for agriculture, horticulture and forestry increased by 3.8% to 5,816 units in Jan-Mar 2021, including 2,225 thousand units in March (down 20.9% year on year and +14.5% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Tractor inventories amounted to 2,700 units as of Apr 1, 2021 (86.9% of monthly average output), down 12% month on month. Inventories of harvesting machines amounted to 2,114 units (176.2%; down 3.3%), inventories of agricultural, horticultural and forestry equipment - 1,038 units (53.5%; down 0.6%). End </p>

Production of equipment for agriculture, horticulture and forestry increased by 3.8% to 5,816 units in Jan-Mar 2021, including 2,225 thousand units in March (down 20.9% year on year and +14.5% month on month).
Tractor inventories amounted to 2,700 units as of Apr 1, 2021 (86.9% of monthly average output), down 12% month on month. Inventories of harvesting machines amounted to 2,114 units (176.2%; down 3.3%), inventories of agricultural, horticultural and forestry equipment - 1,038 units (53.5%; down 0.6%). End
