Belarus’ tractor production up 18.6% in Jan-Jul 2021 to 22,400 units

Belarus’ production of tractors for agriculture and forestry, except for tractors operated by a side-by-side operator, grew by 18.6% year on year in Jan-Jul 2021 to 22,400 units, the National Statistical Committee (Belstat) told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> In July 2021 alone, tractor production totalled 3,100 units (+13.1% year on year, +4.4% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Production of harvesting machines in Belarus increased by 6.3% to 9,895 units in Jan-Jul 2021, including 1,592 units in July (minus 19.2% year on year and up 17.2% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Production of equipment for agriculture, horticulture and forestry decreased by 27.1% to 12,357 units in Jan-Jul 2021, including 1,294 units in July (down 52.4% year on year and down 19.6% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Tractor inventories amounted to 2,400 units as of Aug 1, 2021 (76.5% of monthly average output), down 12.6% year on year. Inventories of harvesting machines amounted to 1,498 units (106%; down 15.3%), inventories of agricultural, horticultural and forestry equipment - 521 units (29.5%; down 40.9%). End </p>
