Belarus’ tractor production down 1.2% in 2020 to 34,500
<p> MINSK, Jan 29 - PrimePress. Belarus’ production of tractors for agriculture and forestry, except for tractors operated by a side-by-side operator, decreased by 1.2% year on year in 2020 to 34.5 thousand units, the National Statistical Committee (Belstat) told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> In December 2020 alone, tractor production totalled 3,300 units (+1.7% year on year, minus 1.1% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Production of harvesting machines in Belarus increased by 14.7% to 14,902 units in 2020, including 983 units in December (+9.7% year on year and minus 7.5% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Production of equipment for agriculture, horticulture and forestry increased by 10.8% to 30,977 units in 2020, including 3,098 thousand units in December (+4.3% year on year and +9.4% month on month). </p> <p> </p> <p> Tractor inventories amounted to 3,600 units as of January 1, 2021 (126.2% of monthly average output), down 19.5% month on month. Inventories of harvesting machines amounted to 1.898 thousand units (152.8%; minus 0.5%), inventories of agricultural, horticultural and forestry equipment - 617 units (23.9%; minus 8.7%). End </p>

In December 2020 alone, tractor production totalled 3,300 units (+1.7% year on year, minus 1.1% month on month).
Production of harvesting machines in Belarus increased by 14.7% to 14,902 units in 2020, including 983 units in December (+9.7% year on year and minus 7.5% month on month).
Production of equipment for agriculture, horticulture and forestry increased by 10.8% to 30,977 units in 2020, including 3,098 thousand units in December (+4.3% year on year and +9.4% month on month).
Tractor inventories amounted to 3,600 units as of January 1, 2021 (126.2% of monthly average output), down 19.5% month on month. Inventories of harvesting machines amounted to 1.898 thousand units (152.8%; minus 0.5%), inventories of agricultural, horticultural and forestry equipment - 617 units (23.9%; minus 8.7%). End
