Belarus to stop electricity export to Ukraine from 18 Nov

Belarus will cease electric power export to Ukraine from 18 Nov 2021, the Belarusian Energy Ministry said in a press-release. </p> <p> </p> <p> Electricity export to Ukraine will be stopped on 18 November in line with the established interaction procedure within the framework of the contract relations, the ministry said. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the press statement, Belarus will consider future electricity supplies to Ukraine depending on technical capabilities. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, in early November, Belarus’ state-owned energy group Belenergo sent notices to a number of Ukrainian counterparties that it was not ready to supply electricity in November 2021 based on previously concluded framework contracts.
