Belarus to pay Br250 to Br1,500 in bonuses to healthcare and social workers for rotational shifts during epidemic – ordinance
<p> MINSK, May 20 - PrimePress. Belarus has established the bonus for health professionals and social workers for rotational shifts during the epidemic from Br250 to Br1,500 ($103.48 to $20.88 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per 169 hours, depending on level of contact with infected persons and pay grade, as per presidential ordinance No.169 of May 18, 2020 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal on May 20. </p> <p> </p> <p> For first-level contacts the bonus for doctors is set at Br1,500 ($620.88), for medical workers with secondary specialized medical education – Br1,300 ($538.1), other employees – Br900 ($372.53). </p> <p> </p> <p> In the absence of infection and/or persons attributed to the first-level contact group, the bonus is set at Br500 ($206.96), Br400 ($165.57) and Br250 ($103.48), respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> The ordinance comes into force on the day of its official publication and extends to relations that arose since April 1, 2020.
