Belarus to create multi-purpose industrial centre in Kazakhstan’s Kostanay – Golovchenko
<p> MINSK, Jun 28 - PrimePress. Belarus is set to create a multi-purpose industrial centre in the Kostanay industrial zone (Kazakhstan). Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko made a statement to this effect during a meeting with Kazakhstan Prime Minister Askar Mamin in Kazakhstan’s capital on 28 June. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The parties made a decision to set up a Belarusian industrial centre in the Kostanay industrial zone. It will be a multi-purpose centre that will feature production facilities, science and technology capacities and training programs. The documents have already been signed. We expect that the Belarusian industrial centre will be the core of innovative development,” Golovchenko said. </p> <p> </p> <p> He also said that during the visit of the Belarusian governmental delegation to Kazakhstan on 26-28 June 2021, the sides discussed in detail the prospects of development of 10 Belarusian production facilities in Kazakhstan, the deepening of localization of Belarusian equipment and development of new products.
