Belarus Telecom Ministry, Beltelecom launch My City project in Polotsk

The Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus, in cooperation with the state enterprise Beltelecom, has unveiled in Polotsk, Vitebsk Oblast, a mobile application "My City" which digitized basic urban services for residents and businesses. The new platform will become a tool for comfortable interaction of residents with the urban infrastructure, the press service of the Ministry of Communications reported. </p> <p> </p> <p> "The basis of the digital transformation of the regions is defined by the smart city technology - one of the priority directions of scientific, scientific, technical and innovation activities for 2021-2025. … The project envisages comprehensive regional development through consistent and large-scale implementation and integration of digital solutions based on information and communication technologies," said Minister of Communications and Informatisation of Belarus Konstantin Shulgan.
