Belarus simplifies declaration of commodities not subject to customs processing
<p> MINSK, June 3 - PrimePress. Belarus will simplify the declaration of commodities that are not subject to customs processing, as per presidential decree No.182 of June 1, 2020 posted on the National Legal Portal on June 3. </p> <p> </p> <p> A statistical declaration will be filed once a month on one or more shipments under a foreign trade contract, if the total value of the commodities is equivalent to €3,000 or over. Previously, such declarations were to be submitted if the value stood at €1,000 or over no later than seven business days from the date of shipment (receipt) of commodities. </p> <p> </p> <p> Also, the decree abolishes periodic statistical declarations. Instead of two documents (statistical and periodic statistical declarations), only a statistical declaration will be required. </p> <p> </p> <p> These provisions of the decree will enter into force four months after their official publication.
