Belarus sets temporary limits on axle weight from March 25 to April 25

Temporary axle weight limits will be in place on major public roads in Belarus fr om March 25 to April 25, 2021, in accordance with resolution #4 adopted by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus on March 1, 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> The document defines the list of major public roads, wh ere the axle weight limits will be effective. For the roads and motorways not included into the list, the maximum single-axle load shall be 9 tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> From May 24 till September 15, 2021 maximum single axle weight of 6 tonnes will be effective on national roads with asphalt-concrete surfacing from 11:00 to 20:00 inclusive with the daytime air temperature over 25 ° C. </p> <p> </p> <p> Temporary restrictions do not apply to vehicles travelling on certain toll roads; vehicles transporting passengers, live animals and certain types of goods.
