Belarus seeks to increase food exports to Egypt - Agriculture Ministry

Belarus is interested in further increasing the volume of food supplies to Egypt. </p> <p> </p> <p> The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus made a statement to this effect following the meeting between Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Ivan Krupko and Minister of Internal Trade and Supplies of Egypt Ali El-Sayed Ali Al-Moselhi. </p> <p> </p> <p> The reports says that in the first place they plan to increase sales of dairy products - butter, cheeses, skimmed and whole milk powder, and in the future - meat products (beef and poultry meat), produced in accordance with Muslim Halal requirements. </p> <p> </p> <p> In January-June 2021, Belarus’ exports of food products and agricultural raw materials to Egypt exceeded $770,000 and showed a 2.4-fold year-on-year increase.
