Belarus’ retail sales up 1% on yr in Jan-Oct 2021 to Br48.9bn

Belarus’ retail turnover, including the public catering sector, went up by 1% on the year in Jan-Oct 2021 to Br48.9 billion ($19.814 billion at the central bank’s exchange rate) in comparative prices, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) said in a report. </p> <p> </p> <p> The per capita daily retail turnover in Jan-Oct 2021 stood at Br17.1 ($6.93) to compare with Br15.3 ($6.2) in Jan-Oct 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> Of the total, trade organizations accounted for 92.6%; individual entrepreneurs and natural persons accounted for the rest (7.4%). </p> <p> </p> <p> The trade turnover of Belarus’ state-owned trading companies grew by 1.8% in Jan-Oct 2021 to Br45.2 billion ($18.315bn). </p>
