Belarus resumes electricity export to Ukraine from 21 Nov – Energy Ministry

Belarus resumed electricity supply to Ukraine on 21 November, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Belarus resumed electricity supplies to Ukraine from 21 November. We supply electricity in accordance with the contract signed for November,” the press service said. </p> <p> </p> <p> Earlier, the website of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) reported that 415 MWh was supplied to Ukraine from Belarus continuously for 23 hours on 21 November. </p> <p> </p> <p> On 18 November 2021, Belarus halted supplies of electricity to Ukraine. The Belarusian Energy Ministry pointed out that the supplies were terminated in accordance with the established procedure for interaction in the framework of contractual relations, “the possibility of further supplies of electricity to Ukraine will be considered by the Belarusian side taking into account the technical capabilities.” End </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
