Belarus reduces export duties on oil and oil products Dec 1, 2020
<p> MINSK, Dec 1 - PrimePress. Belarus’ export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) decreased on December 1, 2020, as per government resolution No.679 of November 28, 2020 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> The export duty on crude oil decreased on Dec 1, 2020 from $42.2 to $42 per tonne. The zero duty on oil supplied under EEU FEACN codes 2709009001 and 2709009003 remains unchanged. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on light and medium distillates, benzene, toluene, xylenes and lubricating oils is maintained at $12.6 per tonne; waste oil products, vaseline, paraffin and oil bitumen – down from $42.2 to $42 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on commercial gasoline remains at $12.6 per tonne; straight run gasoline – down from $23.2 to $23.1 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on diesel fuel is maintained at $12.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on fuel oil decreased from $42.2 to $42 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on liquefied natural gases remains at 0%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Since October 1, 2011, following Russia, Belarus has been calculating export duties on oil and oil products by the 60/66 formula, i.e. the rate of export duties on light and dark oil products is unified and is calculated with a 0.66 factor to the rate of the duty on oil.
