Belarus raises some cigarette prices by 1.1-11.5% Nov 1, 2020
<p> MINSK, Oct 26 - PrimePress. Belarusian manufacturers and importers will raise maximum retail prices of some brands of cigarettes on November 1, 2020 by 1.1% to 11.5%, according to the data of excise tax payers posted on the website of the Tax Ministry of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> The price of Korona cigarettes will increase by 1.1-11.5% to Br1.25-1.85 ($0.49-0.73 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per pack; Rothmans cigarettes - by 1.8-4.2% to Br2.5-2.85 ($0.98-1.12); Monte Carlo cigarettes - by 1.8%-4.2% to Br2.5–2.75 ($0.98-1.08). </p> <p> </p> <p> Also, prices of cigarettes that will be available from November 2020 will change: Camel Studio Exotic Crush - Br2.5 ($0.98) per pack, Pall Mall Nano Blue - Br2.55 ($1). </p> <p> </p> <p> Cigarette prices were announced by three manufacturers–GTF Neman OJSC, Tabak Invest LLC and Inter Tobacco LLC–and two importers–Belarustorg state-owned enterprise and Energo Oil CJSC. </p> <p> </p> <p> Last time, Belarus raised cigarette prices on October 1, 2020.
