Belarus raises motor fuel prices by 0.46%-0.54% Jun 8, 2021
<p> MINSK, Jun 8 - PrimePress. Belarus raised motor fuel prices on June 8, 2021. The retail price of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol goes up by 0.52% to Br1.95 ($0.77 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per litre; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 0.54% to Br1.85 ($0.73), AI-98-K5-Euro – by 0.46% to Br2.17 ($0.86); diesel fuel – by 0.52% to Br1.95 ($0.77) per litre, Belneftekhim state petrochemical concern reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The change in motor fuel prices is caused by the continuing growth in world oil quotations, the average value of which from June 1 to June 4, 2021 reached $70 per barrel and increased by 27.5% compared to the quotation level of January 2021. Motor fuel prices have grown by 8.1% since early this year,” the statement said. </p> <p> </p> <p> This has been a sixteenth change in motor fuel prices in Belarus since early 2021. This year, the price of 1 litre of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol has increased by 8.33%; AI-98-K5-Euro – by 7.43%; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 8.82%; diesel fuel – by 8.33%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Motor fuel prices in Belarus changed 16 times in 2020 to a 3.4% increase on average.
