Belarus raises motor fuel prices by 0.45%-0.52% Jul 20, 2021
<p> MINSK, Jul 20 - PrimePress. Belarus raised motor fuel prices on July 20, 2021. The retail price of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol goes up by 0.5% to Br2.02 ($0.8 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per litre; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 0.52% to Br1.92 ($0.76), AI-98-K5-Euro – by 0.45% to Br2.24 ($0.88); diesel fuel – by 0.5% to Br2.02 ($0.8) per litre, Belneftekhim state petrochemical concern reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Based on the current analysis of hydrocarbon prices (the average quotation from 1 to 16 July is $76 per barrel, up 39% since early 2021) and in line with the Belneftekhim strategy of restrained indexation of motor fuel prices, the retail price ceiling will change as of 20 July 2021,” the statement said. </p> <p> </p> <p> This has been a twenty-second adjustment in motor fuel prices in Belarus since early 2021. This year, the price of 1 litre of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol has increased by 12.2%; AI-98-K5-Euro – by 11%; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 12.9%; diesel fuel – by 12.2%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Motor fuel prices in Belarus changed 16 times in 2020 to a 3.4% increase on average.
