Belarus raises motor fuel prices by 0.44%-0.51% 21 Sep 2021
<p> MINSK, Sep 21 - PrimePress. Belarus raised motor fuel prices on 21 Sep 2021. The retail price of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol goes up by 0.48% to Br2.08 ($0.8 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per litre; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 0.51% to Br1.98 ($0.79), AI-98-K5-Euro – by 0.44% to Br2.30 ($0.9); diesel fuel – by 0.48% to Br2.08 ($0.8) per litre, Belneftekhim state petrochemical concern reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The change in motor fuel prices from 21 September 2021 is due to the continuing increase in world oil prices, the average value of which reached $73 per barrel from September 1 to 17 and increased by 33% compared to January 2021 levels. Prices have increased by 14.7% since early this year,” the statement said. </p> <p> </p> <p> This has been a twenty-eighth adjustment in motor fuel prices in Belarus since early 2021. This year, the price of 1 litre of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol has increased by 15.6%; AI-98-K5-Euro – by 13.9%; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 16.5%; diesel fuel – by 15.6%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Motor fuel prices in Belarus changed 16 times in 2020 to a 3.4% increase on average.
