Belarus raises minimum sale price of fruit wines by 3.3% to Br3.09 per 0.7 liters Jan 1, 2021
<p> MINSK, Jan 5 - PrimePress. The marginal selling price (without VAT and with retail packaging cost) of fortified fruit brand wines of improved quality produced by special technologies and wines with 18% alcohol content was raised by 3.3% to 3.09 Belarusian rubles ($1.2 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per 0.7 liters on January 1, 2021, as per resolution No.86 of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus of December 28, 2020 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> Prices of fruit wines are based on the market environment, being maintained at or below the maximum marginal sale price, and are recalculated in proportion to beverage strength and retail packaging capacity. Wholesale and trade mark-ups to sale prices of hard liquor are applied depending on the market environment. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, fortified fruit brand wines of improved quality produced by special technologies are on Belarus’ list of goods, the prices of which are regulated by the state.
