Belarus raises export duties on oil and oil products Aug 1, 2021
<p> MINSK, Jul 30 - PrimePress. Belarus’ export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will grow on Aug 1, 2021, as per government resolution No.440 of 29 July 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> The export duty on crude oil will grow on Aug 1, 2021 to $67.8 from $61.5 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on light and medium distillates, benzene, toluene, xylenes and lubricating oils will grow to $20.3 from $18.4 per tonne; waste oil products, vaseline, paraffin and oil bitumen – to $67.8 from $61.5 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on commercial gasoline will be raised to $20.3 from $18.4 per tonne; straight-run gasoline – to $37.2 from $33.8 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on diesel fuel will grow to $20.3 from $18.4 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on fuel oil will grow to $67.8 from $61.5 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on liquefied natural gases will grow from nil to $9 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> Since October 1, 2011, following Russia, Belarus has been calculating export duties on oil and oil products by the 60/66 formula, i.e. the rate of export duties on light and dark oil products is unified and is calculated with a 0.66 factor to the rate of the duty on oil.
