Belarus raises export duties on oil and oil products Apr 1, 2021
<p> MINSK, Apr 1 - PrimePress. Belarus’ export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) rose on April 1, 2020, as per government resolution No.176 of March 29, 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> The export duty on crude oil rose on Apr 1, 2021 to $57.6 from $49.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on light and medium distillates, benzene, toluene, xylenes and lubricating oils increased to $17.2 from $14.8 per tonne; waste oil products, vaseline, paraffin and oil bitumen – raised to $57.6 from $49.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on commercial gasoline increased to $17.2 from $14.8 per tonne; straight-run gasoline – to $31.6 from $27.2 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on diesel fuel rose to $17.2 from $14.8 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on fuel oil increased to $57.6 from $49.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on liquefied natural gases, which stood at 0% as of Jan 1, 2021, now is set at $35.4 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> Since October 1, 2011, following Russia, Belarus has been calculating export duties on oil and oil products by the 60/66 formula, i.e. the rate of export duties on light and dark oil products is unified and is calculated with a 0.66 factor to the rate of the duty on oil.
