Belarus proposes unifying CIS legal framework with most relevant EEU legislation
<p> MINSK, Dec 10 - PrimePress. Belarus considers it expedient to consider the possibility of starting step-by-step unification of the legal framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) with the most relevant and employable, advanced legal acts of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and best international integration and cooperation practices. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko made a statement to this effect at a meeting of the CIS Economic Council on December 9, the press service of the Belarusian government said in a report. </p> <p> </p> <p> For cooperation within the CIS in the near future the vice premier has identified three major priorities: economy, health, security. </p> <p> </p> <p> Petrishenko considers it extremely important to focus on the implementation of the action plan for the first phase (2021-2025) of the 2030 CIS Economic Development Strategy. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to him, eliminating barriers to trade within the CIS, providing a full-scale regime of free trade in goods, facilitating administrative procedures for trade and business, industrial cooperation, deepening cooperation in investment, innovation, transport and other areas remain the most relevant task.
