Belarus’ producer prices up 1.3% in Apr 2020, up 3.9% in Jan-Apr 2019

Belarusian producer prices increased in April 2020 by 1.3% month on month and by 3.9% from Dec 2019, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> Prices of producer goods increased in April 2020 by 1.3% month on month and by 3.1% from December 2019; intermediate goods – by 1.2% and 4.5%, respectively; consumer goods – by 0.7% and 1.5%, respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> Agricultural producer prices increased in Apr 2020 by 0.2% month on month and by 2.7% from December 2019; crop production – up 0.9%, up 4.9%, respectively; livestock production – down 0.03% and 2.3%, respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> Construction prices increased by 4.7% month on month in Apr 2020, up 7.7% from Dec 2019. Prices of construction and installation works increased by 2.6% and 1.5%, respectively; prices of machinery and equipment increased by 5.3% and 12.9%, respectively; prices of other works and expenses increased by 13.3% and 13.8%, respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> Freight tariffs (all means of transportation) decreased by 0.2% month on month in Apr 2020, up 6.4% from Dec 2019. </p> <p> </p> <p> Telecom tariffs for entities and private entrepreneurs remained unchanged month on month in Apr 2020; grew by 0.9% from Dec 2019. Freight tariffs (all means of transportation) decreased by 0.2% month on month in Apr 2020, up 6.4% from Dec 2019.
Telecom tariffs for entities and private entrepreneurs remained unchanged month on month in Apr 2020; grew by 0.9% from Dec 2019. End
