Belarus’ producer prices up 0.5% in Oct 2021, up 12.5% in Jan-Oct 2021
<p> MINSK, Nov 12 - PrimePress. Belarusian producer prices rose by 0.5% month on month in Oct 2021 and by 12.5% in January-October 2021, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> The prices of investment goods rose in Oct 2021 by 3.6% month on month and by 15.7% year to date; for intermediate goods by 0.1% and 16.5%, respectively; and for consumer goods by 0.7% and 6.3%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Agricultural producer prices increased in Oct 2021 by 2.9% month on month, up 12.9% since early 2021; crop prices – up 7.2% month on month, up 22% since early 2021; livestock prices – up 1.7%, up 10.4%, respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> Construction prices grew by 1.3% month on month in Oct 2021, up 13.6% from the Dec 2020 level. Prices of construction and installation works increased by 2% and 15.2%, respectively; prices of machinery and equipment decreased by 0.5% and grew 9.5%, respectively; prices of other works and expenses grew by 4.3% and grew by 12%, respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> Freight tariffs (all means of transportation) decreased by 0.7% month on month in Oct 2021, up 3.6% from the level of Dec 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> Telecom tariffs for entities and private entrepreneurs remained unchanged month on month in Oct 2021 and grew by 0.1% in Jan-Oct 2021.
