Belarus plans to change rules for road haulage
<p> MINSK, Apr 15 - PrimePress. Belarus’ authorities are planning to change the rules for cargo transportation by road. The rules may be adjusted in accordance with a relevant government resolution, which was put up for public discussion by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> The draft resolution is designed to improve the efficiency of using permits for motor vehicles engaged in international road haulage to cross the territory of foreign countries, reads the commentary of the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> The draft resolution provides for the issuance of certain types of permits, defined by the Ministry of Transport and received from foreign countries in small quantities, the additional submission of CMR notes by the carrier. “The new regulation will allow issuing permits for passage through the territory of the respective state only for laden vehicles, which will increase the efficiency of use of such permits.” </p> <p> </p> <p> The public discussion of the draft resolution will be in progress until 25 April 2021.
