Belarus’ oil products export to Ukraine down 3.6% in 2020 to 3.182m tonnes

Belarus reduced the export of oil products to Ukraine in January-December 2020 by 3.6% year on year to 3.182 million tonnes, reads the official statistical report. </p> <p> </p> <p> In monetary terms, the exports decreased by 38.2% on the year to $1.241 billion. </p> <p> </p> <p> The decrease in supplies was primarily caused by a considerable decrease in output at the Belarusian oil refineries (Naftan, Novopolotsk, Vitebsk Oblast, and Mozyr Refinery, Gomel Oblast) in the first half of the year due to Russian crude oil supply cuts and the price environment on the fuel market. </p> <p> </p> <p> The average export price of Belarusian oil products for Ukraine in 2020 stood at $390.115 per tonne, down 35.9% year on year. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, in 2019, Belarus increased supplied of oil products to Ukraine by 4.6% year on year to 3.301 million tonnes.
