MINSK, Nov 17 - PrimePress. Belarus has restricted the pumping of oil through the Druzhba pipeline in the direction of Poland for three days because of an unscheduled repair that began on November 18, on one of the pipeline branches, the official Transneft representative Igor Dyomin told reporters on Wednesday.

Poland’s PERN warned in advance about repairs on Belarus segment of Druzhba pipeline
The Polish operator of the Druzhba oil pipeline, PERN, has been warned about the repair of the pipeline in Belarus and the limitation of oil pumping in the direction of Poland, the spokeswoman of PERN, Katarzyna Krasińska, told RIA Novosti.
“PERN was informed by Transneft that in connection with unplanned repair work on the Unecha-Mozyr section on the Belarusian side, oil pumping to Poland and Germany will be carried out in a slightly reduced mode until 10 a.m. tomorrow (12 a.m. local time – editor’s note)," Krasińska said.
“The monthly volume of crude should be delivered as planned,” she said.
Oil pumping to Poland reduced by 7% on one branch of Druzhba pipeline
Gomeltransneft Druzhba says it has limited by 7% oil pumping volumes to Poland on one of the oil pipeline branches because of planned works to replace the valve at the oil pumping station Gomel.
“Gomeltransneft Druzhba is carrying out scheduled works to replace the gate valve at the Gomel oil pumping station, due to which the volume of oil pumping through one of the branches of the main oil pipeline is slightly limited,” the Belarusian operator said.
It is noted that the work, which is being carried out in order to improve the reliability and safety of the operation of the Gomel pumping station, will take 48 hours.
The Druzhba oil pipeline provides oil exports from Russia to Europe via two routes - northern (through Belarus, Poland, Germany, Latvia and Lithuania) and southern (through Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia).
