Belarus launched its national electronic postal system on January 3, 2021, says the Telecom Ministry of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> The system handles registered and ordinary letters in electronic form, ensuring safety and confidentiality of correspondence. It will be possible to send and receive letters from cell phones or computer. </p> <p> </p> <p> This requires a SIM-ID, AV Pass USB key or ID card to send registered letters electronically, using the website of Belpochta national postal operator. </p> <p> </p> <p> The cost of a simple e-mail is 0.42 Belarusian rubles ($0.16 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus); registered mail – Br1.5 ($0.58).
