Belarus’ internal debt increased 4.7% on the month in Jul 2020 to 12.485 billion Belarusian rubles ($4.7 billion) as of August 1, 2020 by the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standards, Belarus’ Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report. </p> <p> </p> <p> Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounted for 78.37% in Jul 2020 (78.03% in Jun 2020), short-term debt for 0.0002% (0.0002%) and the debt secured by the government for 21.63% (21.97%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus’ internal debt reduced by 6.54% year on year in 2019 to Br11.11 billion ($4.2bn).
