Belarus’ internal debt up 14.1% in Mar 2020 to Br13.164bn

Belarus’ internal debt grew by 14.1% on the month in Mar 2019 to 13.164 billion Belarusian rubles ($5.4 billion) as of Apr 1, 2019 by the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standards, Belarus’ Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report. </p> <p> </p> <p> Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounted for 79.19% in Mar 2020 (78.74% in Feb 2019), short-term debt for 0.0002% (0.0002%) and the debt secured by the government for 20.81% (21.26%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus’ internal debt reduced by 6.54% year on year in 2019 to Br11.11 billion ($4.56bn).
