Belarus’ internal debt down 1.24% in May 2020 to Br11.998bn

Belarus’ internal debt decreased 1.24% on the month in May 2020 to 11,998 billion Belarusian rubles ($5 billion) as of June 1, 2020 by the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standards, Belarus’ Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report. </p> <p> </p> <p> Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounted for 78.51% in May 2020 (78.88% in Apr 2020), short-term debt for 0.0002% (0.0002%) and the debt secured by the government for 21.49% (21.12%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus’ internal debt reduced by 6.52% year on year in 2018 to Br11.11 billion ($4.6bn).
