Belarus intends to curtail administrative procedures to facilitate doing business

Belarusian authorities intend to drastically reduce administrative procedures and work out the most convenient regulations for business, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov said at a session of the Entrepreneurship Development Council, says the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (UEE).<br> <br> Snopkov said that the president of Belarus instructed to substantially reduce the number of administrative procedures and paperwork in all business areas.<br> <br> In accordance with presidential decree No.240 on administrative procedures in respect of business entities issued on June 25, 2021, the government and regulators are to make a list of administrative procedures and approve administrative rules within nine months.<br> <br> “This gives a chance to lighten the administrative burden and reduce non-productive costs incurred by business entities,” says the UEE.
