Housing output in Belarus expanded 15% on the year in January-June 2021 to 2.041 million square metres, the National Statistics Committee said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> For families officially registered as households that need to have their housing conditions improved 866,400 sq metres (up 27.9%) of dwellings was commissioned in Jan-June 2021, or 42.5% of total housing output. </p> <p> </p> <p> Housing completion in the countryside amounted to 569,400 square metres, (27.9% of the total output), up 7.4% yoy. End </p> <p> </p> <p> In 2020, 4.156 million sqm of housing was commissioned in Belarus (+2.3% compared to 2019). End </p>
