Belarus’ heat production up 4.4 times yoy in Jan-Feb to 18.3m Gcal

Heat production in Belarus increased 4.4 times in year on year in January-February 2021 as to 18.3 million Gcal, according to Belstat data. </p> <p> </p> <p> Experts explain the increased volume of heat production in 2021 by more unfavourable weather conditions compared to the winter of 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to Belenergo, heat output in Belarus in 2020 was 32 million Gcal (down 2.5% year on year). In 2020, Belenergo companies replaced and installed 183.09 km of heating networks in single-pipe terms. Equivalent fuel consumption for heat output was 166.9 kg/Gcal. End </p>
