Belarus’ govt reviews procuring procedure
<p> MINSK, Dec 14 - PrimePress. The government of Belarus has adjusted the procedure for procurement of goods at own expense of the buyer to improve regulations and stimulate the procurement of goods of domestic manufacture. The new procedure is established by government resolution No.717 of December 10, 2020 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> The resolution provides for the possibility of procurement from one-source, the manufacturer of domestically produced goods without any other procurement procedures, and mandatory application of the preferential factor of 15% to goods produced in Belarus or in the countries that a granted national treatment, a possibility of limited access for goods of foreign origin and suppliers who offer such goods to public procurement. </p> <p> </p> <p> The list of cases not covered by government decree No.229 of March 15, 2012, which sets the rules of procurement for state-owned enterprises, was expanded. </p> <p> </p> <p> It includes the procurement of goods produced by Promsvyaz OJSC, Technolit Research and Production Company, Borisov Auto-Repair Plant JSC and Beldortekhnika branch of Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407 JSC, Lakokraska JSC, SALEO LLC, SALEO-Gomel OJSC, SALEO-Kobrin OJSC, Svetlogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill OJSC, Spartak Paper Factory OJSC, and Management Company of the Belarusian Wallpaper Holding. The list is also supplemented by the procurement of wheat and rye flour from processors. </p> <p> </p> <p> The resolution came into force upon its official publication. End </p>
