<p> MINSK, Mar 19 – PrimePress. Belarus’ GDP may grow by 2% in 2021 and exports by 15%. Deputy head of the Market Analysis Department of Russia’s Gazprombank Gulnara Khaidarshina made a statement to this effect during the VI roundtable "Belarus’ Debt Market" on March 19. </p> <p> </p> <p> “We expect that Belarus’ economy will return to the growth trajectory. The economy will be supported by exports - domestic consumption will take more time. Industry, oil refining, food processing and agriculture will be the growth drivers in sectoral terms. We expect the economy to recover this year and grow by up to 2% - this is moderate growth. If we want it to grow more rapidly, we need structural reforms,” Khaidarshina said. </p> <p> </p> <p> In her words, in 2020 Belarus expanded the number of trading partners and the range of exported products. "In 2021 the Ministry of Economy of Belarus expects a 10% export growth, we expect a 15% growth due to last year’s low base.
