Belarus’ GDP down 0.9% in Jan-Nov 2020 to Br133.9bn
<p> MINSK, Dec 16 - PrimePress. Gross domestic product of Belarus declined in January-November 2020 by 0.9% year on year to Br133.9 billion ($52.924 billion at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus), the National Statistics Committee of Belarus (NBB) reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> Industrial output was down 0.7% year on year in Jan-Nov 2020 to Br105.1 billion ($41.541bn). </p> <p> </p> <p> Farm output increased in Jan-Nov 2020 by 4.9% yoy to Br21.7bn ($8.577bn). </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Belarus’ GDP grew by 1.2% yoy in 2019 to Br131.952 billion ($51.41bn), the official growth forecast being 4%. Industrial output was up 1% to Br113.4 billion ($44.822bn); farm output – up 2.9% to Br20.8 billion ($8.221bn). The Belarusian authorities expect 2.8% GDP growth in 2020. End (Br2.53/$1) </p>
