Belarus’ former premier Rumas included into Rosselkhozbank’s supervisory board
<p> MINSK, Apr 12 - PrimePress. Former Belarusian Prime Minister Sergey Rumas has been included in the supervisory board of Rosselkhozbank. Russia's Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev has been elected chairman of the supervisory board, the bank's press service said. </p> <p> </p> <p> The press statement says that the bank’s supervisory board has been renewed by half, with Sergey Rumas (listed as head of the supervisory board of Minsk Tractor Plant), Russian Deputy Finance Minister Irina Okladnikova, head of the secretariat of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Viktoria Abramchenko Nadezhda Samoilova and CEO of United Grain Company Dmitry Sergeyev becoming its new members. </p> <p> </p> <p> Rosselkhozbank is the key lender to the Russian agro-industrial complex and the main agent of the government for financial support to the sector. The bank is fully owned by the government. According to RIA Novosti, as of March 1, 2021 Rosselkhozbank was the sixth largest bank in the Russian banking system in terms of assets.
