The Finance Ministry of Belarus expects 170 million Belarusian rubles ($65.7 million at the rate of National Bank of Belarus) in extra treasury revenues from the temporary increase in taxes for the residents of the Belarusian High-Tech Park (HTP) and the Chinese-Belarusian Great Stone Industrial Park, First Deputy Finance Minister of Belarus Dmitri Kiyko told reporters on December 28, 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> The bill on Amendments to the Tax Code passed by the parliament proposes to raise the income tax to 13% from 9% in 2021-2022. </p> <p> </p> <p> It is assumed that the funds will be spent on COVID-19 response measures.
