Belarus Finance Ministry to place LTBs in Belarusian rubles on 16 November
<p> MINSK, Nov 12 – PrimePress. The Ministry of Finance of Belarus will hold an auction on 16 November 2021 in the trading system of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) to placement of issue #301 of long-term government bonds nominated in Belarusian rubles, for legal entities and individuals. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance. </p> <p> </p> <p> The volume of the issue shall be set by the Ministry of Finance after the auction. The face value of one bond is 1 thousand Belarusian rubles ($409.4 at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus). The circulation term of the bonds of issue 301 is 548 days, the maturity date of the bonds is 18 May 2023. </p> <p> </p> <p> The interest rate is set for the entire term of the bonds during the auction. The interest income is paid during the circulation period of the bonds on May 18 and November 18, starting from 2022. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, in January-October 2021, the Belarus Ministry of Finance sold on the domestic financial market long-term government bonds worth Br191 million ($78.19 million, $1/Br2.4428) and $937.38 million.
